A. Evanston/Skokie SD 65 (hereinafter referred to as the Owner) will receive multiple prime contract bids for the following project until 2:00 pm, local time, on January 18, 2023 at the Administration Office, 1500 McDaniel Avenue, Evanston, IL 60201.

B. Project Description:
• LED Lighting Upgrades at multiple schools
• Environmental Remediation of Flooring & Pipe Insulation, New Flooring & Lay-in ACT Ceilings, Domestic Water Piping Replacement at Dawes Elementary
• Building Window Replacement at Haven Middle School
• ACM Floor Abatement, New Ceilings & Flooring at King Arts
• ACM Abatement & Floor Replacement at Chute Middle School.
C. Bids will be publicly opened and read the time noted above at the Evanston/Skokie SD 65 Administration Board Room.
D. Bid Package documents, drawings, and specifications shall be available on or after January 4, 2023. Bidders may visit the following websites to obtain the bid documents. Printing and shipping costs shall be the responsibility of the bidder:

E. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid (plus additive alternates) made payable to the Owner.
F. A pre-bid meeting will be on January 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Evanston/Skokie SD 65 Administration Board Room located at 1500 McDaniel Avenue, Evanston, IL 60201. Bidders are highly encouraged to attend the meeting.
G. The Contractor shall pay, if applicable, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established, to all laborers, workmen and mechanics in the performance of Work under this Contract in accordance with “An Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics and other employed under contracts of Public Works.” 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.
H. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to accept the bid that is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, which is in the best interests of the district.
