23-1013 Clinton JHS Bleacher Seat Replacement Project

A. Clinton Community School District #15 (hereinafter referred to as the Owner) will receive
bids for the following project until 10:45 AM, local time, on February 16, 2023 at the District
Office, 1210 Highway 54 West, Clinton, IL 61727
Project #21418 – CLINTON CUSD #15 CLINTON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL –
BLEACHER SEAT REPLACEMENT PROJECT
B. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:15 AM and location noted above.

C. Contract Documents may be obtained by Bidding Contractors from Cordogan Clark &
Associates, Inc., on their online plan room www.cordoganclarkplanroom.com on or after,
February 3, 2023 to obtain the bid documents.

D. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of
10% of the Base Bid (plus additive alternates) made payable to the Owner.

E. A pre-bid conference will be held at the District Office, 1210 Highway 54 West, Clinton, IL
61727, on February 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM local time. See Specification Section 002513 for
further information.

F. All bidders are required to visit the site. The project site will be available during regular
school hours by appointment only. The project site is available for inspection on a limited
basis.

G. The Contractor shall pay, if applicable, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as
established, to all laborers, workmen and mechanics in the performance of Work under this
Contract in accordance with “An Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics and other
employed under contracts of Public Works.” 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.

H. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bidding,
or accept the bid that, in his opinion, will serve his best interests.
